Egg Press has a great sense of humour, I have several of their cards and the quality is delicious, the paper is so thick and the colors are delightful.
I had another browse over at pict and found Atsushi Hara. I couldnt find a website for him but here's a few of his lovely illustrations. I like how he uses pencil crayon and his retro style also reminded me of the incredible favorite illustrator Miroslav Sasek.
This graphically pleasing game looks so nice you could frame it and hang it on the wall. And lastly (I really want one of these) a print by the wonderful illustrator Miki Amano its worth checking out Miki's website too.
I still cant believe I have never visited Japan, (see below post) I would go nuts there and hyperventilate because I would want to buy everything. This fabulous picture was over on the Yahoo news pictures page.
Today I thought I would focus on the spring schedule books, then I found this image of one of his lunch boxes which has been hanging around for a while.
Sometimes you just want to have a product by one of your favorite illustrators in your hands, thankfully these adorable notebooks by Atomic Soda are all available at the fabulous store Heliotrope.
