I just happened to check out the Fomato website and its got a whole new look and lots of new designs since I last visited.
I really like their cards and the humor is right up my street too, especially on their sale: free cards page!

Little John Bear in the Big City - Bernice Myers

Little John Bear in the Big City - illustrations and text by Bernice Myers (who has also illustrated one of my favorites Off into Space!, I will try & get around to sharing it with you soon.)
My favorite part of this book is the cover, the story is funny and cute - I thought this was the funniest page - where the little bears coat has got all thin on the elbows and Mama Bear is trying to glue bits on!

Book Posters - Bill Sokol

Remember the book posters we showed here recently by Rudi Bass these are by Bill Sokol.
These were all designed for the New York Times - the art director was Louis Silverstein.
I really like the top image - those big crazy white boots are so fun with a stripy bathing suit!

While looking for something else this morning I came across this sweet bunny. Designed by J. E. Steinberg for a department store promotion.

Olle Eksell - Menus

Somebody asked me recently if I had any more Olle Eksell images.
I found these black and white ones - he designed the winelist and menus for the Karlstad Savoy.
I had a look through my Olle Eksell book (which I highly recommend and found another image for the winelist on page 162).
