I thought you would like to see this old bookplate, its so cute and it really does make you want to go and wash your hands.

Where does Everyone Go? - illustrations by Adrienne Adams

Where does Everyone Go? - illustrations by Adrienne Adams written by Aileen Fisher.
The colors and style of illustrations in the book are so warm, cozy and nostalgic.
I absolutely love the top image of all the people carrying their skis in the snow, the backround trees are so beautiful too.

The Easter Bunny That Overslept - illustrations by Adrienne Adams

Our yard seems to be a prime meeting spot for lots of bunnies which I find highly entertaining as they help to keep the grass short and play leap frog with each other.
Here's another book illustrated by Adrienne Adams its in quite a different style to the other one I shared with you recently - What Makes a Shadow?
My favorite picture in the whole book is the bunny sat in the armchair by the fire (above).
The Easter Bunny That Overslept - illustrations by Adrienne Adams written by Priscilla and Otto Friedrich.
Have a fantastic holiday weekend everyone.

The Prettiest Math Book

This could be the Prettiest Math Book ever, if we had text books like this at school maybe I would have looked forward to the subject. I have always been bad at math despite the fact that my Dad was a math teacher!?!
Aren't these just delightfully lovely, the colors are like candy and the pages are like gift wrap or fabric designs.
Maybe if the teacher had handed out a book like this when I was a kid I would have thought it was time to start drawing - yipeeee.

What Makes a Shadow? Adrienne Adams

One of my latest finds - What Makes a Shadow? by Clyde Robert Bulla illustrations by Adrienne Adams.
The color combination's in this book are lovely, I especially like the bright cheery orange!
The details are so pretty and I like that they have a graphic quality to them.
It looks like there are some available here.
