Architecture - Columbus Indiana

On our recent road trip, we passed through Columbus, Indiana and decided to stop and spend a few hours riding around on our bike looking at the architecture.
There are a lot of interesting buildings to see designed by architects including Eero Saarinen , I.M. Pei , Robert Venturi and others.
Columbus is ranked 6th in the U.S. for architectural innovation by the American Institute of Architects.
I am a big fidget which makes me a sucker for any interesting side trips and stop offs there might be on a lengthy road trip and Columbus was a nice break, riding around on our tandem was a fun way to see stuff.
We bought the map (which has a touch of 80's about it) from the visitors center.
We were lucky to stumble upon Irwin Gardens at the end of our ride which has limited open hours it was immaculate and incredible.
