John John Twilliger by William Wonderiska is a long and interesting story for a kids book and the illustrations are a a mixture of simple and detailed drawings with a limited color palette, which I always like.
I especially like the ice-cream end papers in this one.
I first came across William Wonderiska recently when Grain Edit did this post. Got to say I really like the look of the Puff book.

Its too bad that Wondriska's books are so hard to find. He has some amazing books.
