It's a J.P. Miller day today. I simply love the illustrations to this classic well known story.
I like the details and the humor in each page, this last page (above) the hen is reading 'The Egg and I' and has a sweet picture of a chick on the wall.

I LOVE THIS BOOK. WE HAVE THIS BOOK. i even color copied and framed some pages when i first decorated my first son's bedroom/nursery. i think there's a pic on my flickr. anyway, love this. there is also a very cool update called little red hen makes a pizza. all collages. have you seen it? let me know if you want details. it's very cool, even though the hen keeps saying "oh cluck!"
