Pen, Pencil, Brush - Harvey Weiss

Pen, Pencil, Brush by Harvey Weiss. There is something really lovely about those old books teaching kids how to draw. This one by Harvey Weiss shows examples from other great artists, like Paul Klee, Maurice Sendak alongside drawings from the author. My favorite illustrations are the lions heads (top image) made with thumbprints and type etc.....
There are lots of copies here.

This is great! I devoured books like this as a kid, and they still thrill me!

Great! I picked up a copy of a similar learn how to draw book by Erich Holle not so long ago. It's wonderful.
